James McC. Carr, Quarter Master of the S.S. Huntsman, was awarded the Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society Medal, in bronze, in respect of the rescue of the crew of the Delfina, N.W. of the Skerries on 16 December 1928 - ‘it was blowing a southerly gale with a high sea and the Delfina was down by the head, making water and unmanageable’; sold with further details.
