1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star; Africa Star; Burma Star, clasp, Pacific; War Medal 1939-45, in their original addressed card forwarding box, together with General Register and Record Office of Shipping and Seamen forwarding slip, dated 15 July 1946, and a photograph, good very fine and better (5) £80-100

Arthur Thomas Webb, who was born in India in March 1906, was employed by Alfred Holt & Company from 1927, his first wartime appointment being aboard the Stentnor. Having then served in the Glenorchy in 1941, the Deucalion Antenor and Glenartney in 1942, he removed to the Priam, in which latter ship he was employed as Second Engineer from November 1942 until the War’s end, latterly in the Pacific and off Burma; sold with copied research.
