Chaplain, head of La France right under the bough of a tree, reverse male figure holding torch above a winged female figure of Victory, Expo pavilion below, tablet with inscription société anonyme des publications périodiques ‘mouillot’, 64mm (PBE 82; Baxter 95; BDM I, 404; cf. DNW 38, 747); together with Exposition Universelle Internationale, Paris, 1900, a plated bronze plaque by L.-O. Roty, winged Genius placing a torch in the hand of a dying woman, reverse view of the Petit and Grand Palais, Paris, laureated wreath in clouds above, 51 x 36mm (Roty Compagnonnage p.90; Coll. R. Marx 74-5; ANS Exh. Cat. 1910, p.269, 30; BM Acq. 1978-82, p.48, 179; BDM VI, 239; cf. DNW 45, 739) [2].
