Num. 1897, p.135, 12; cf. DNW 47, 845); Les Sciences, 1894, a bronze medal by L.-A. Bottée, seated figure of Science attended by Genie, reverse sphinx looking at itself in a mirror, rising sun at left and oil-lamp below, 51mm (PBE 28; CGMP pp.60-1; Coll. R. Marx 383; BDM I, 231); République Française, 1894, a bronze medal by J.-B. Daniel-Dupuis and H. Dubois for the Association Philotechnique de Neuilly-sur-Seine, bust of Marianne right, reverse winged Genius holding tablet, oak wreath around, 68mm (CGMP pp.162, 170) [3]. Very fine and better, but first with small stain on lower obverse (£40-50)
