Charles I (1625-1649), Shilling, 1645, normal crown with eleven pearls to left of cross and ten to right, reverse obs newarke, 5.13gm (H Hird Sale, lot 254, same dies; SCBI Brooker 1223-4, same rev. die; N 2640; S 3142). Some weakness on crown, fine, a rare combination of late obverse and early reverse dies (£200-250)
