The Essex Regiment Officer’s Torrin Cap, a Plain Torrin Cap and Sashes of the Orange Order, the cap of blue cloth the curtain and crown piped with gold braid and bearing the badge of the Essex Regiment in gold and silver metal thread blue silk and red velvet, the second cap of identical design but bearing no badge; a purple ribbed taffeta sash trimmed with gold lace fringe and bearing an embroidered badge ‘Apprentice Boys of Derry Browning Club’; another sash in purple and orange materials trimmed with silver lace and bearing an embroidered badge ‘Maiden City L.O.L 816’; three very ornate sashes of orange and purple taffeta embellished with silver-plated badges featuring the crown, a mounted figure of King William III and sundry other emblems [Lot].
