Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Pound, 1643/2, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, Shrewsbury horseman riding over arms and armour, Oxford plume behind, rev. seven pellets before legend, mark of value and three Oxford plumes above Declaration, date below, 120.77g/10h (Morr. B-1; SCBI Brooker 863A, same dies; N 2398; S 2940). Two small edge splits and some minor surface marks, otherwise nearly extremely fine for issue, very rare £8,000-10,000
