Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Halfcrown, 1643, mm. rosette, Briot horseman, rough ground below, Oxford plume behind king, rev. Declaration, large Oxford plume between two smaller above, date and ox below, 13.27g/5h (Bull 607/26; Morr. J-26; SCBI Brooker –; N 2420; S 2963). A little flat in places, otherwise better than very fine, the variety very rare and not represented in the Brooker Collection £800-1,000
