32 medals for Rhodesia 1896 to the 4th Battalion, all serving with the Mounted Infantry of the Mashonaland Field Force. Private Charles Smith is also entitled to the Q.S.A. with clasps for Cape Colony, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith, Orange Free State, and Transvaal.
