Edward the Elder (899-924), Penny, Bust right type, East Anglian, draped and diademed bust right, ea[dvvea]rd ex, rev. ificio meion, three crosslets between, trefoil of pellets above and below, 1.21g/9h (CTCE –; cf. SCBI East Anglia 825ff; N 653; S 1086). A large fragment, nearly very fine with a reasonable portrait, very rare £400-500
