Herman Rowbottom, a Carpenter and Joiner in civilian life, enlisted into the R.F.C. in July 1916. Appointed an Air Mechanic 1st Class in August 1917; Acting Corporal in May 1918 and Temporary Corporal in July 1919. Served in France, 24 June 1917-8 September 1919. With copied service papers.
