Private George Charles Scott, 6th Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, was killed in action in Gallipoli on 9 August 1915, aged 24 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial. He was the husband of Ethel Musson formerly Scott), of 7 Addison Drive, Wragby Road, St. Giles, Lincoln.
