Stoker 1st Calss W. Fawkes, R.N. was killed in action when the battleship H.M.S. Formidable was torpedoed and sunk by the U-24 off Portland Bill, 1 January 1915.

Undaunted, 3 December 1914-31 December 1916 and took part in the Cuxhaven Raid, 25 December 1914 and the battle of Dogger Bank, 24 January 1915. With copied service papers.
