Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 4 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (Capt. D. E. Mackintosh, Lovats Scouts) last two clasps are copies, medal in Spink, London red leather case; together with a miniature dress medal of the Q.S.A.; Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, bronze medallion, reverse inscribed, ‘Awarded to D. E. Mackintosh, 15th April 1891’, in (damaged) Kirkwood, Edinburgh case of issue, nearly extremely fine and better (3) £200-300

David Euan Mackintosh was born on 11 February 1877, the son of Hon Lord Kyllachy, of Kyllachy.

With copied roll extracts showing entitlement to the first, third and fourth clasps.
