Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (2) (Alexander Caw; Herbert Crocker) first nearly very fine; other good very fine (2) £70-90

Alexander Caw was born in and enlisted at Glasgow. Serving with the 8th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders he was killed in action on 25 September 1915, aged 19 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. He was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth Ferguson Tully Caw, of 1259 Shettleston Road, Glasgow.

Herbert Crocker was born in Slough, Buckinghamshire, lived at Hyde Park, London and enlisted at Hounslow, Middlesex. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, he was killed in action on 12 March 1915. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial.
