Unframed Family Oil Paintings, oil on canvas on original wooden stretchers (60 x 44.5 cms), the first full length illustrates a Senior NCO of the 6th Nizam of Hyderabad Cavalry Contingent, the subject is shown c. 1850 in scarlet coatee with undress shoulder scales and his helmet on a side table, he would appear to be of Indian birth or extraction. The second, again full length, illustrates his wife and daughter fashionably dressed c. 1850, both paintings are well executed but require some restoration; together with a small framed watercolour (18 x 14 cms) depicting officers of the 68th Durham Light Infantry in full dress and undress c. 1822 - 1829 some damage (3) £100-200
