Military General Service 1793-1814, 5 clasps, Vittoria, Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, Toulouse (A. Cooper, 39th Foot.) edge bruising and some distortion to clasps, otherwise nearly very fine £1600-1800

Abraham Cooper was born at Holmley, Hereford, and served in the 39th Foot for 7 years 5 months. He was discharged on 25 October 1817 and admitted to a late pension in February 1853, being ‘wounded right cheek and shoulder at Vittoria and left thigh at Toulouse, also ruptured’. Sold with copied Chelsea Hospital examination record and medal roll entry.
