John William Lane, a member of the 25th Brant Dragoons (Militia), enlisted in the 215th Battalion at Brantford, Ontario, in September 1916. Serving in Canada only, he was discharged as medically unfit in November 1918 and died of a brain tumour in February 1936; sold with copied service papers.

William Barnes enlisted in the 50th (Calgary) Battalion in June 1915, and later served with the Canadian Army Pay Corps. Demobilised on 31 July 1920, he died of lung disease at Calgary in October 1936; sold with copied service papers.

William James Mitchell served in the Duke of Corwall’s Rifles (Militia) before enlisting into the C.A.M.C. at Saskatoon in April 1916. Attached to the 8th Overseas Stationary Hospital, he served in England and France, and was demobilised in Quebec in August 1919. He died in June 1939; sold with copied service papers.
