Peter Paul Murray was born in Manchester, England, on 29 June 1882. Having previously served in the Indian Army and currently serving in the Irish Fusiliers Militia, he enlisted into the 1st Pioneer Battalion, Canadian Engineers, at Vancouver in September 1915 and entered England in November 1915. He returned to Canada in June 1916 and was discharged as physically unfit, and died of T.B. on 20 November 1921; sold with copied service papers.

William George Fair was born in Cookstown, Ireland, on 6 September 1894. He enlisted into the 63rd (Edmonton) Battalion in September 1915, served in England but, suffering from Pulmonary T.B. he was discharged as medically unfit in Calgary in April 1918. He died on 22 November 1925; sold with copied service papers.
