Percy Walter Pratley was born in London, England, on 6 April 1882. A Lumberman by occupation, he enlisted into the 242nd Battalion at Edmonton in August 1916. Embarked for France in January 1917, he served ih the 19th Company, Canadian Forestry Corps. Discharged as medically unfit, suffering from heart problems, at Calgary in March 1919, he died of heart disease at Victoria, B.C., in January 1959; sold with copied service papers.
