Miner Metsker was born in Vilas, Colorado, U.S.A., on 15 October 1889. He enlisted into the 195th (City of Regina) Battalion at Regina in March 1916, but died of pneumonia in Regina on 16 April 1916. He was buried in Fairfax (Pleasant Ridge) Cemetery, Missouri, U.S.A.; sold with copied service papers.
