Lloyd Levie Winters was born in Ashville, Manitoba, on 2 October 1896. Enlisting in the C.E.F. at Brandon, Manitoba, in January 1918, he was serving with the 43rd Battalion (Cameron Highlanders of Canada) when killed in action on 28 September 1918. He was buried in the Crest Cemetery, Fontaine-Notre Dame, Nord, France; sold with copied service papers.
