M.M. London Gazette 21 October 1918.

Percival John Howard was born in York Township, Ontario. A Bank Clerk by occupation, he enlisted into the 2nd Divisional Signal Company at Toronto in May 1915, but was transferred to the Canadian Army Veterinary Corps, attached to the 1st Canadian Divisional Veterinary Hospital, on arriving in France in September 1915. Howard next transferred to the Canadian Field Artillery Pool in November 1917 and was ‘attached for duty to Headquarters, Canadian Artillery Pool, for duty with Canadian Field Artillery Brigade Park Section’ in February 1918. In August 1918, having again transferred, this time to the 8th Army Brigade C.F.A., he was awarded the M.M. for bravery during the Battle of Amiens. Howard was discharged at Toronto in June 1919; sold with copied service papers.
