I.D.S.M. G.G.O. No. 177 of 1931 for services in Tauda China, Waziristan.

Teja Singh joined the Indian Army on 20 August 1910 and served with the 28th Punjabis. Appointed a Jemadar in June 1921; served with the 2-17th Dogra Regiment from 1926. Served in Iraq, November 1915-October 1917 and was wounded. Awarded the I.D.S.M. in 1931 for service in Waziristan. Awarded the O.B.I. 1st Class in June 1944 as a Subadar-Major and Hon. Lieutenant.
