With notes stating ‘Only three Sgts received the bar for Balaklava. Sgt. Collins mentioned in despatches for bringing up ammunition to the front.’ With copied roll extract showing entitlement to the ‘Alma’ clasp and listing him as having died on 22 October 1855.
