Private James Webb, 1st Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 14 August 1914. Clasp confirmed. He was killed in action on 28 August 1914, aged 29 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial, France. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
