Indian Scroll in Silver Presentation Case, ornate silk scroll, approx. 71 x 45cm., given to ‘His Excellency Sir Arthur Edward Nelson, M.A., Kt., K.C.I.E., O.B.E., I.C.S., Governor, Central Provinces’, presented by the Members of the District Council and Local Boards of Akola District, in which they draw his attention to the numerous problems and grievences facing them, this signed by eleven members of the council and board; this contained in a highly ornate silver scroll case, approx 52 cm. long, 8cm. diameter, 879g., this inscribed, ‘Presented to His Excellency Sir Arthur Edward Nelson, M.A., Kt., K.C.I.E., O.B.E., I.C.S., Governor, Central Provinces by The Chairman District Council Akola on behalf of the Members of the District Council and the Local Boards of Akola District on 13th August 1932’, both case and contents in very good condition £450-500
