Colin Erskine Manisty Law was born in Stoke, Devon, on 25 April 1881. Appointed a Midshipman in July 1897; Acting Sub-Lieutenant in January 1901; Sub-Lieutenant in March 1901; Lieutenant in June 1905 and Lieutenant-Commander in June 1911. Placed on the Retired List at his own request, 19 August 1921. Lieutenant-Commander Law died on 9 April 1938.
