Private Patrick Costello, Royal Dublin Fusiliers served during the Boer War. As a Private in the Royal Irish Regiment he entered the Balkan theatre of war on 5 September 1915. Later served in the Royal Engineers and Royal West Kent Regiment. Entitled to a 1914-15 Star trio. His Q.S.A. was re-issued in 1926. With copied m.i.c.
