Walter Reed was born and lived in Locks Heath, Hampshire and enlisted at Portsmouth. Serving with the 15th Battalion Hampshire Regiment, he died of wounds, France/Flanders, on 21 June 1917, aged 24 years. He was buried in the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery.

Thomas Lawrence Reed was born and lived in Titchfield, Hampshire and enlisted at Gosport. Serving with the 1st Battalion Hampshire Regiment he died in France/Flanders on 16 July 1918, aged 33 years. He was buried in the Gonnehem British Cemetery, Pas de Calais.

They were the sons of Thomas and Mary Ann Reed, of ‘Doris Dene’, Abshot Road, Titchfield Common, Fareham, Hampshire. With copied casualty details.
