William James Stanley Fowler was born in Caversham on 23 December 1890. As a Private in the Hampshire Regiment he entered the Mesopotamia theatre of war on 26 August 1915. With copied m.i.c. indicating he was awarded the Silver War Badge (not with lot). Also with birth certificate.
