Serjeant Frank A. Bamford came from Rawmarsh. Serving with the 109 Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 22 September 1914. Clasp to 1914 Star confirmed; M.I.D. not confirmed.
