George Edward Pryce was born in Kensington in 1895. A Piano Manufacturer by occupation, he attested for service in the 16th (Service) Battalion Rifle Brigade at St. Pancras, London on 6 July 1915, aged 20 years, 7 months. Invalided to England and treated at East Leeds War Hospital, May 1917 for trench foot. Transferred to the Tank Corps on 30 January 1918. With copied m.i.c. and service papers.
