Harold James Wadman was born in Langham, Gillingham, Dorset and enlisted at Gillingham. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Dorset Regiment in Egypt, he died on 9 July 1918, aged 23 years. He was buried in the Ramleh War Cemetery. He was the son of Mr A. & Mrs C. Wadman of Kingston Magna, Gillingham, Dorset.
