Lieutenant J. D. Harding, Imperial Yeomanry, died of enteric at Germiston on 3 June 1901. He had joined the Imperial Yeomanry in March 1901 having previously served as a Trooper in the Westmoreland and Cumberland Yeomanry Cavalry.
