Canada General Service 1866-70, 1 clasp, Fenian Raid 1866 (313 Bglr. J. Thompson, 4/60 K.R.R.) officially engraved naming, slight edge bruise, good very fine £300-350

James Thompson was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire. He attested for the 60th Regiment at Liverpool on 9 November 1857, aged 14 years. Served as a Bugler and later as a Musician with the regiment, serving Canada, June 1861-July 1869 and in the East Indies, November 1876-May 1882. Discharged in May 1882. Additionally awarded the medal for Long Service. With copied service papers.
