Craftsman Francis George Smith, R.E.M.E. was killed/died in Italy on 1 November 1943, aged 26 years. He was buried in the Bari War Cemetery. He was the son of Francis G. and Elizabeth S. Smith, of South Benfleet, Essex.

With named condolence slip and medal forwarding box addressed to ‘Mrs E. Smith, c/o Appleton Rd., South Benfleet, Essex’.

Lance-Sergeant Robert Sydney Sharman was killed/died in Italy on 21 April 1945, aged 30 years. He was buried in the Argenta Gap War Cemetery. He was the son of Charles Harry and Rose Kate Sharman, of Wealdstone, Middlesex and husband of Dorothy Sharman.
