Three: attributed to Private L. Cox, 5th Battalion Suffolk Regiment, died a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese, Singapore, 25 July 1943

Private Robert Thomas Jarmey, 4th Battalion Royal Norfolk Regiment, died a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese in Thailand on 22 June 1943, aged 32 years.

He was buried in the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery.

With named condolence slip.

Private Leonard Cox, 5th Battalion Suffolk Regiment, died a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese on 25 July 1943, aged 27 years.

His name is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial. He was the son of James Christopher and Emma Cox, of Springfield, Essex.

With named condolence slip and medal forwarding box addressed to ‘Mrs R. E. Cox, 13 Fordson Road, Springfield, Nr Chelmsford, Essex.
