Pair: Private M. Waller, 9th Battalion Rifle Brigade, killed in action, France/Flanders, 21 March 1917

British War and Victory Medals (S-28472 Pte., Rif. Brig.); Memorial Plaque (Mark Waller) extremely fine (3) £100-140

Mark Waller was born in Bromley, Kent, lived in Holmwood, Surrey and enlisted at Horsham, Sussex. He originally served in the Gloucestershire Regiment. Serving with the 9th Battalion Rifle Brigade, he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 21 March 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.

With original slip to accompany the Victory Medal and two damaged named lids from the medal card boxes. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
