Pair: Private F. Parkinson, 1st Battalion King’s Own Scottish Borderers, killed in action, Gallipoli, 26 April 1915

Frank Parkinson was born, lived and enlisted at Lancaster. Serving with the 1st Battalion King’s Own Scottish Borderers he entered the Egypt theatre of war on 16 November 1914. Awarded the 1914-15 Star (not with lot). He was killed in action in Gallipoli on 26 April 1915, aged 22 years. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial. He was the son of John and Jane Parkinson, of 16 Martin Street, Lancaster. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
