Alex Beach was born in West Norwood, London and enlisted at London. Serving with 25 Brigade, H.A.C., he was killed in action on 4 October 1917, aged 22 years. He was buried in the New Irish Farm Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. He was the son of Thomas John and Annie Jasmine Beach of 9 Lancaster Road, West Norwood, London.
