Michael Curnow was born in Merthyr Tydvil, S. Wales on 1 January 1875 and entered the Royal Navy in September 1899. During the war he served on Euryalus, July 1914-December 1917; Whiting, December 1917-June 1918 and Virago, June-November 1918. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1921.

Wallace Henry Thomas Stevens was born in Portsmouth on 13 March 1889 and entered the Royal Navy in July 1904. During the war he served on the old battleship
Queen, June 1914-April 1916 and the battlecruiser Renown, September 1916-November 1920. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1922 on the light battlecruiser Courageous.

Alfred Ernest Triggs was born in Devonport on 26 February 1890 and entered the Royal Navy in May 1911. During the war he served on the scout cruiser
Skirmisher, December 1913-September 1918 - 7th Destroyer Flotilla leader based on the Humber. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1926.

William Reginald Harper was born in Gillingham, Kent on 31 March 1893 and entered the Royal Navy in August 1908. Served on the destroyer
Syren, June 1914-May 1918. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1926 on the battleship Queen Elizabeth.
