Trussler, R.A.S.C.); Delhi Durbar 1911 (J.6849 R. F. Port, O.S., H.M.S. Medina) worn; Imperial Service Medal (4) G.V.R., 2nd issue (Frederick William Sweet) in case of issue; another, G.VI.R., 1st issue (George Henry Alfred Parnell); with identity disk, ‘Parnell, G.H.A. 2043 C.E.’) in card box of issue; another, E.II.R., 2nd issue (William Thomas Philip Bristow; Eric Scholefield) these in cases of issue, good very fine and better except where stated (7) £160-200

Reginald Frank Port was born in Farringdon, Hampshire on 22 February 1894 and entered the Royal Navy in Janaury 1910. Served on the royal yacht Medina, October 1911-February 1912. During the Great War he served on the old battleships Hibernia, October 1913-November 1916 and Dominion, November 1916-April 1918. Appointed a Petty Officer in August 1919. With copied service paper.

Frederick William Sweet was an officer in the Royal Naval Armament Depot, Priddys Hard. With Home Office slip to accompany the medal and two related memorial cards.

George Henry Alfred Parnell was an established engine fitter employed at the Sheerness Dockyards. He was presented with his medal on 10 December 1946. With letter informing Parnell of his award, with envelope addressed to ‘G. H. A. Parnell, Esq., 22 Trinity Road, Sheerness’, and a related newspaper cutting.

William Thomas Philip Bristow was a Supervising Recorder at Barrow-in-Furness.
