Stephen Henry Marshall was born in Edinburgh on 3 November 1831 and was appointed an Assistant Surgeon on the Staff on 7 May 1858 and appointed to the 2nd Regiment in June the same year. Transferred to the 45th Regiment in April 1862. Placed on Half Pay on 23 September 1862.
