Charles II, Restoration, 1660, a cast bronze medal by G. Bower, bust left, hair long draped in robes of the Garter, rev. Jupiter, seated on his eagle, hurls his thunderbolts upon the giants who lie prostrate in a desolate landscape, ornamental border both sides, 64mm (MI I, 458/50; E 213). A contemporary cast of this very rare medal, very fine and patinated £200-250
