Roty, winged Genius placing a torch in the hand of a dying woman, reverse view of the Petit and Grand Palais, Paris, laureated wreath in clouds above, one engraved (Léonce Tedeschi, Secrétaire Général de la section Serbe), 51 x 36mm (Roty Compagnonnage p.90; Coll. R. Marx 74-5; ANS Exh. Cat. 1910, p.269, 30; BM Acq. 1978-82, p.48, 179; BDM VI, 239; cf. DNW 45, 739); together with a gilt-bronze award medal for the same event, unsigned, seated female with arms, reverse legend around wreath, named (Paul Couvreur), 51mm. [3]. Last good fine and in red fitted case, others very fine and better, toned (£30-50)
