Belgian Congo, Le Cercle Africain à leurs Majestes, 1928, a gilt-bronze plaque by G. Devreese for Fonson, conjoined busts of Albert I and Elizabeth left, reverse train passing a statue of Leopold II, palm trees at sides, 78 x 58mm, edge stamped 196. Surface marks both sides, very fine, scarce (£40-60)

Also commemorates the 30th anniversary of the opening of the railway from Matadi to Stanley Pool on 1 July 1898
