Desvignes for Canale, seated figure of Pan playing musical instrument in a forest, animals watching from behind trees, reverse musical instrument on a branch of ivy, 50mm (Classens 66; Cat. Canale 59; BM Acq. 1983-7, pl.37, 52; cf. DNW 33, 366, 35, 672 and 38, 767). Very fine; seldom seen in this small size (£30-40)
