Italy, Anton Maria Salvini, c.1752, a cast bronze medal by A. Selvi, bust right in gown, ANTONIVS MARIA SALVINVS, reverse bee feeds on flowering roses, OPEROSA PARVVS, 83mm (V & T –). Small piercing on rim for suspension, otherwise good very fine, very rare (£120-150)

Brother of Salvino Salvini; this medal was probably issued in the same year as that in the preceding lot and certainly by 1753, the year of Selvi’s death
