Smyth, W.H., On Tradesmen’s Tokens [Bedford, 1853], pp.164-82, 1 engraved plate; Blundell, J.H., Bedfordshire Seventeenth Century Tokens, Ventnor, 1928, xii + 67pp, 3 plates (Manville 873) [2]. First in brown paper cover with later typescript, second in maroon decorated cloth, titles in gilt, this with a copy of Thomas Moule’s 1831 county map pasted in, signed by J.O. Manton, and with a copy of Manton’s review of the book in SNC October 1928 tipped-in, very fine and fresh £70-90
